With the retirement of a large number of engineers in the power area, there has been a substantial increase in new hires throughout the industry. Training of these new engineers can be a significant challenge, and a variety of internal and external programs are used to ensure proper training of young engineers, e.g., industry-focused master's programs, internal seminars, etc. This panel will explore current practices and discuss how to improve the training of the next generation of power engineers.
