Power grids are increasingly exposed to more intense and frequent extreme weather events, affecting not only electricity customers but also other critical facilities and infrastructures depending on a reliable electricity supply. In this presentation, metrics to quantify the interdependence between the resilience of power and water distribution are introduced, which provide a mechanism to enhance the planning and operation actions towards the resilient operation of power and water infrastructures.
