The Offshore Wind (OSW) sector is growing at a rapid pace not only in US but also around the world. Several offshore wind projects are already in operation on the East coast of US and many more are in the planning, design, and commissioning stages. The goal of this panel is to recap the activities of the assigned OSW Integration TF by PES ITSLC with its findings and recommendations. International experiences on OSW development are invaluable assets of the industry. Regulation’s support and reforms of interconnection are key enable factors of OSW development in North America. Innovative technologies are critical path to achieve the OSW integration goals by 2030 and beyond. Industrial engagement and workforce development on OSW development will take on the challenges at the first place. The TF members will take the stage at this panel to share their views.
