Reinvention in the Power Sector in the Changing Scenario

This panel session is for reporting about Asian and Australasian Experience on New-age System Operation on account of associated novel approaches & emerging technologies, communications & cyber security to support it. In fact, there is gradual shift in different facets of handling electric power and energy, right from generation to utilization. Various aspects of Distributed Energy Resources (DER)-based generation and its integration with the existing system for consumption and then increasing usage of Electric Vehicles (EV) as well as deployment of Grid-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are expected to be discussed in the context of system operation.
