IEEE 519-2022: Update on recent changes

This panel session presents the history of IEEE 519 including the most recent changes in the 2022 publication. Some of the challenges associated with obtaining accurate measurement of harmonics are also presented. New proposed interharmonic voltage limits located in the informative Annex A will be explored. Issues with the existing Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) definition are identified, and a proposed solution is presented.
