This panel covers various aspects advanced of pumped-storage hydropower. This panel is intended to encourage electrical engineers, especially within the Power and Energy Society, to participate in research, development, and demonstration of pumped storage hydropower technologies and to open dialog among many experts and stakeholder organizations working in water power generation for possible future collaborations. The panelists include engineers and researchers actively involved in research and development efforts of hydropower technologies and other types of renewable energy generations to improve performance, lower costs, and ultimately support our ability to meet the growing energy demand.
