Grid interconnection is centered in offshore wind generation integration. Radial or network tie-in plans not only alters the engineering and economics matric at individual OSW projects, but also have significant impact on existing onshore power grids and reveals the shape and operation challenges of future power grid infrastructures. This panel will invite experts from research, industry and regulatory to review the current practices, available technologies, and challenges in design, construct and operate massive offshore grid for US.
