With increasing penetration of solar inverters, massive amount of machine data are generated. While these data can provide valuable operational insights, they are typically collected and stored by siloed proprietary systems, i.e. offered by manufacturers. This panel targets to discuss the challenges and potential requirements to integrate the distribution solar inverters and coordinate them for grid services. Current implementations and challenges will be discussed in detail.
