The role of an Asset Manager is sometimes considered to be a combination of translating technical data and information into financial terms, and also translating financial data/information into a technical equivalent. The application of AI tools to the interpretation of asset, operational and condition data provides an opportunity to identify problems and opportunities which may have otherwise been missed - providing value in terms of decision support. This panel session will look at practical applications of AI tools to interpretation of data, subsequent analyses and integration of the approach into asset management decisions as detailed technical data and analyses are 'translated' into the financial environment.
