The digitalization is moving further the electrical power grids. The number of sensors for control as well as monitoring purpose is increasing strongly. Conventional tasks of engineers will be transferred to digital platforms to achieve more flexible and optimized results by the application of machine learning algorithms. The management and analytic of big data plays an increasing role to comply with this development. This session will present innovative approaches and practical examples regarding the digitalization of power grids.
