Inverter-based resource are now the predominant form of new generation connecting to the bulk power system. As these resource become increasingly prominent and are playing a key role in BPS reliability, it is important that they have sufficient monitoring data and measurement capability to perform both real-time monitoring as well as offline engineering analysis. This panel will highlight the recommended practices for high-speed measurement data at inverter-based resources and focus on the new capabilities being presented in IEEE P2800.
