Machine learning (ML) is an emerging technology for implementing the next generation smart grid. In recent years, significant efforts have been devoted to realize fast and efficient powers system decision-making using ML techniques. ML methods are promising to handle various intractable problems related to power system optimization, control and data processing. In this panel, the focus will be given to the application of ML techniques in the field of power system decision-making, especially optimization, control and data processing. Experts from academia and industry will share their original ideas and insights to this challenging and inspiring topic.
