Power systems globally are going through unprecedented changes, mainly driven by decarbonisation targets and the integration of Renewable Energy Sources. This is resulting in increasing complexity and uncertainty in various aspects of power system operation. At the same time increasing availability of measurements is becoming a reality, opening up great possibilities for data driven methods to enable useful insights and novel tools to be used in operational time scales, close to real time, when fast and reliable reaction is crucial.
