In the fourth session session on Pathways to 100% Clean Energy, we discuss current state-of-the-art practices and the evolution to potential future end states for 100% clean electricity and potentially across the energy economy. Utilities/ISOs and researchers will discuss best practices in system balancing and resource adequacy with high penetrations of variable renewables, including storage/hybrids, demand flexibility, transmission and emerging resources such as hydrogen. Industry experts will also discuss high-level production cost modeling and capacity expansion studies of potential 100% future scenarios.
