2020 PES GM 8/6 Panel Session: Cybersecurity in Grid Modernization – Challenges and Opportunities from a Canadian Perspective

Modern grids encompass a number of critical digital assets that can be exposed to and compromised by cyber-threats. From individual devices to interconnected utilities, or from control rooms to supply chains, there are rising challenges to the critical energy infrastructure. The panel aims to share the latest projects, progress, and challenges encountered by utilities and countermeasures being considered. The panellists will discuss infrastructures such as the digital substations and power plants, and new control rooms.
