Panel Session 06 Aug 2020

In most recent years, tremendous efforts have been devoted to exploring the potentials of deep learning (DL) and artificial intelligence (AI) for solving many complex power system problems, from generations all the way down to the demand side. In this panel, the focus will be given to the generation and transmission level planning, either short term or long term. The experts from both academia and industry will share their original insights on the potential applications of DL and AI in integrating the traditional and variable generation resources, as well as aggregated storages and demand-side resources into the bulk power system planning & operation problems.
