Panel Session 05 Aug 2020

The concept of networked microgrids, or microgrid clusters, is an emerging operation paradigm, in which multiple microgrids are coordinated through intelligent control and flexible operation methodologies to further improve grid resilience and renewable integration. This panel explores the potential benefits of networked microgrids for improving distribution grid resilience in response to the upcoming extreme events.
This panel features experts from utility, vendor, universities and national laboratory. This panel will explore the lessons learnt from the operation practices and field deployment experience, as well as the state-of-art control and operation methodologies for improving the resilience of distribution grid using networked microgrids.
