Panel Session 04 Aug 2020

Power systems analysis and operations rely heavily on computational models to make informed decisions. Open-source software has the opportunity to advance research and industry alike, by providing transparent robust applications for analysis and operations problems. This panel assembles developers of promising open-source packages with applications including unit commitment and economic dispatch, power flow, ACOPF, and transient stability. Panel presentations will include demonstrations of package capabilities, discussions of interoperability, and benefits of open-source package development.
