2019 IEEE General Meeting 8/7 Panel Presentation: Microgrid Tools - Design, Optimization, Business Case and Resiliency

This panel session will offer an overview of tools available to aid microgrid design, assessment, business case, resiliency and performance. Microgrids offer a path to energy resiliency for many applications and energy users. However, the process of designing, constructing, commissioning, and assessing a microgrid is not always straightforward. The panelists will describe tools that aid microgrid resource selection, design, construction, cyber security, resiliency and performance assessment. The panel will also review methodologies for assessing economic contributions that generate business cases for microgrid implementation.
