Situational awareness is a critical component of power grid operations to ensure security and reliability under an uncertain and constantly evolving threat landscape. This entails not only knowing the current state of various cyber and physical assets, but also involves obtaining actionable intelligence to identify how specific events could adversely impact grid operations, for the purposes of identifying suitable mitigation during operation and guiding attack prevention strategies for the future. This panel will bring together subject matter experts from diverse backgrounds, including government entities, national labs, utilities, vendors, and academia to discuss policy, research & development, current implementations, and future directions to address this area of critical need
