Presentations and discussion of advanced control system and optimization algorithms that enable large-scale coordination of distributed energy resources (DERs) for T&D grid and market operations. The availability of flexibility derived from these DER technologies are demonstrated by the participants to enable a suite of frequency, balancing, and ramping reserves for reliable operations with significant renewable generation. These projects are part of the ARPA-E NODES program.
