Small scale microgrids are on rise in the southeast region of United States. Local utilities are also partnering with homebuilders to build smart neighborhoods focusing on energy efficiency, automation and community scale microgrid. This panel session includes presentation of few real-world examples of small scale microgrids and smart neighborhoods from utilities of this region.
