This panel is intended to give a recent overview and achievements of harmonic modelling and simulation issues. Different modelling methods of nonlinear loads are considered for harmonic and disturbances >2 kHz. Since last decade, more and more power electronic-based energy sources and nonlinear loads are influencing levels of voltage quality of power system, particularly, in islanded operation mode. Furthermore, decentralized energy storages, renewable energy sources, AC/DC mix local grids and microgrids are arising new challenges for grid operators who seek adequate assessment methods in order to guarantee acceptable power quality levels in all grid operation modes. Besides harmonic phenomenon, EMC issues of conducted disturbances above 2 kHz as well as DC power quality will be also considered through recent research results from different committees of IEEE, CIRED, CIGRE.
