Grid Resilience

Grid Resilience is centered in today's energy industry infrastructure planning and operation, especially with increased extreme events and cyber/physical threats. At this supersession, both industry and academia leaders will address a series of strategic topics on resilience modeling, data analysis and operation methods, from technical, economic, social and regulatory aspects. Operation experiences from US and Europe will be reported; resilience related strategies and recommendations will be discussed; and innovative solutions, from infrastructure planning, large scale data analytics, decision support tools, utilizing smart grid technology, distributed energy resources and renewable resources to improve grid resilience will be highlighted in this session.
