A website is a must for any professional organization in the 21st century. IEEE Entity provides an excellent introduction for a basic website. We will cover IEEE PES Seattle Chapter's experience with using the IEEE Entity webhosting to create a responsive website. Enhancements you can make to your website which we will cover include: calendars with a widget showing upcoming events and linking to other calendar feeds; using forms to coordinate RSVPs to events, nominations, and member feedback; linking polls to your website; managing more content by delegating tasks.

Professionals of today expect any organization they join to have a solid online presence with a dynamic website that keeps them up to date. Building a website from scratch takes more resources than the average volunteer has time for. IEEE Entity provides hosting and an installation of WordPress which allows a person with limited webmastering experience and good technical ability (definition of many engineers I hope!) to run a high quality dynamic website. Getting started can be a bit daunting. This presentation starts where the IEEE Entity's introduction document ends
