Some women are still facing issues that limit their advancement in technical careers. There are girls that still grow believing that engineering is exclusively for men and furthermore, those who actually develop a career in this path have to balance between family and work. In this webinar, we will discuss the issues as well as the ongoing comparison on how men and women behave in leadership positions. Are our differences an advantage or disadvantage for the success of the company?

We will also present how IEEE through the group Women in Power is contributing to help women in the power and energy sector to empower their capabilities.

A Community of the Future is a place where ComEd and a local community collaborate to create a "smart community" - connected, custom, livable, and, sustainable - in which the smart grid and a host of other technologies and related services are fully leveraged to enhance the everyday lives of community members.
